What We Do

wheatgermRestormel Mind helps support people with mental health needs in Cornwall and is based around the St Austell, Newquay and Bodmin areas. If you are interested in joining in with any of our groups, to make friends and enjoy some fun activities, you will find everyone is very encouraging and keen to see new faces. Let us give you a helping hand towards a change in your life.

Our Befriending and Wellbeing Schemes provide support to a variety of groups.

If you feel

  • depressed
  • anxious
  • lonely and isolated
  • experiencing stress
  • in need of support
  • feeling vulnerable

..then think about coming along to one of our groups which can provide support and friendship in a relaxed, safe and friendly environment. There’s usually something of interest to everyone.

You can find all the groups listed on our home page. Groups are run with the help of a sessional worker, volunteers and group members.

We are committed to providing quality services and we have the following accreditations:

  • Quality Management in Mind
  • Interlink Capability Model level 3 plus mental health module

” Stigma and discrimination ruin lives. They deny people with mental health problems the opportunity to live their lives to the full. They deny people relationships, work, education, hope and the chance to live an ordinary life that others take for granted.”
