About Musical Mixtures!
Musical Mixtures! is a friendly skills-sharing music group in the Camel Valley. Our main aims are to have fun and to keep learning. Friendly social sharing, fun and learning are all conducive to improving human sense of well-being in nearly any situation!
So if you are a musician and suffering from feeling sad or isolated or panicy or mood swings or trauma – or feel you might like to volunteer with the group – please do get in touch (contact details at end)
Musicians of all abilities and styles are welcome. Our sessions incorporate a mixture of free jamming and improvisation, music theory, developing instrumental technique and musicality skills, and learning repertoire in multiple styles.
Currently we have violins, saxophones, flutes, percussion, recorder, harmonica, guitar, keyboard, singing. Most people in the group play two or more instruments – and you might find you can get free lessons here !
We have weekly sessions on Monday afternoons 2-4pm at Trelil Court in Bodmin. It is a good space as can split into different rooms for lessons and duo/trio practice. Some people come every week, some can’t make it that often due to shift work etc. – its very relaxed. We also play less frequently in other places at other times.
Please contact Meg Lamond if you’d like to come along : 07792 197949 or email@example.com
